Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an accomplished Attorney/Lawyer to support a sophisticated commercial real estate practice in Louisville, Kentucky. This position offers the opportunity to manage matters through key stages of the legal process, from case development and written advocacy to full life cycle of the closing. The ideal candidate brings sound legal judgment, strong financial and accounting background, and an active license to practice law.

Responsibilities:

• Handle commercial real estate matters from initial case assessment through resolution, maintaining progress across all phases of the closing.

• Develop case strategies by analyzing claims, defenses, and procedural issues relevant to each matter.

• Manage discovery activities, including drafting requests, reviewing responses, and organizing documents for effective case advancement.

• Conduct legal research and produce well-reasoned briefs tailored to requirements and case objectives.

• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to support timely communication and case coordination.

• Active Kentucky license to practice law in good standing.

• Strong ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.

• Working knowledge of discovery procedures, including written discovery and document review.

• Skilled in legal research, issue analysis, and persuasive written advocacy.

• Ability to manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines and procedural requirements.
