Excavator / Heavy Equipment Operator

Eastern Environmental Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. We specialize in environmental remediation, tank removal, site work, drainage, septic systems, and general excavation. We are looking for a dependable operator with strong safety awareness and extensive environmental experience in the environmental field working on a variety of excavation projects. A CDL A License is required.

For Compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $45.00 - $110.00 per hour.

Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, and other factors permitted by law.
Overtime and Prevailing jobs are available.

Responsibilities:

· Operate excavators safely and efficiently on environmental and construction job sites

· Perform excavation and other heavy equipment tasks for tank removal, remediation projects, drainage systems, septic installations, and general site work

· Follow site plans and directions from project supervisors

· Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

· Maintain adherence to all safety procedures and company standards

Requirements:

· Proven experience operating excavators, vactors and heavy equipment in construction or environmental work

· OSHA 30 certification is required

· Must have a CDL A

· Strong understanding of job site safety

· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

· Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
