The Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure safety and performance. This role involves working collaboratively within a team and primarily utilizing a combination of diagnostic tools to identify and fix automotive issues. Interaction with customers is limited, focusing mainly on technical service delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues
  • Repair and maintain engines and related components
  • Conduct brake system maintenance and repairs
  • Service and troubleshoot electrical systems
  • Inspect and repair transmissions
  • Carry out routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive repair
  • Technical certification in automotive repair
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficient in engine diagnostics, brake systems, electrical systems, and transmission repair
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
