Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer

The Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer plays a crucial role in construction and site operations, responsible for operating various heavy machinery, preparing work sites, and handling materials. This position involves a generalist approach across different equipment types, supporting the team under the supervision of a site supervisor. The role requires occasional travel to multiple sites and typically follows a regular daytime work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently across diverse machinery types
• Prepare construction and work sites by clearing and grading
• Handle and transport materials as needed on-site
• Perform manual labor tasks to support site activities
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure maintenance and safe operation

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety compliance
• Basic equipment maintenance skills
• Experience with site preparation tasks
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
