The Impact You’ll Make:

As an Equipment Operator, you will need to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment on utility and heavy civil construction projects. This role is essential to production, safety, and quality. You will work closely with foremen and field leadership to support successful project execution.

You will have the opportunity to:

· Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, rollers, and backhoes

· Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs

· Work safely around underground utilities and trench operations

· Support trenching, backfill, grading, and material handling activities

· Follow site safety plans and company policies

· Coordinate with foremen and ground crews

· Maintain clean and organized work areas

· Support general site operations as needed

Requirements & Experience:

· Proven experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction.

· Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and jobsite awareness.

· Ability to work around utilities and in trenching environments.

· Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

· Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

Zoladz Construction Co., Inc. is a large civil works, demolition and trucking contractor based out of the Western New York area with a satellite facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Zoladz Construction will perform work anywhere along the eastern sea coast. We have completed projects in New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, North Carolina, Louisiana, Ohio, Maryland, Mississippi, Florida, and Texas.

Zoladz Construction employs approximately 325 well trained personnel. Utilizing a fleet of late model heavy equipment and trucks in excess of 300 units. We are utilizing Trimble GPS Survey and Grade Control hardware, Insite takeoff software and Heavy Bid estimating programs.
