Technical Support Specialist / HVAC Specialist / HVAC Support established HVAC company specializing in air-conditioning equipment and replacement parts, serving customers across domestic and international markets.
The successful Technical Support Specialist / HVAC Specialist / HVAC Support will provide diagnostic assistance for residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
The ideal Technical Support Specialist / HVAC Specialist / HVAC Support will support contractors and technicians through structured diagnostic processes. The position plays a key role in reducing warranty exposure and improving customer technical outcomes.
This is not a field technician or sales role. The position is office-based and focused on technical evaluation and support.

- $52,000 - $60,000 per year

Technical Support Specialist / HVAC Specialist / HVAC Support Responsibilities:
- Guide contractors and service technicians through step-by-step equipment diagnostics using phone and online support channels.
- Evaluate reported system symptoms, test results, and equipment history to determine the most likely source of a malfunction.
- Review electrical and mechanical data to assess the performance of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Recommend appropriate corrective actions, replacement parts, or additional testing based on the technical assessment.
- Maintain accurate case records, including troubleshooting steps, conclusions, and supporting details for warranty review.
Technical Support Specialist / HVAC Specialist / HVAC Support Requirements:
- At least three years of hands-on experience working with HVAC systems, equipment, or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of residential split systems, heat pumps, and common heating and cooling components.
- Ability to understand electrical diagrams, equipment schematics, and manufacturer technical documentation.
- Proven ability to investigate equipment issues, assess test results, and reach accurate technical conclusions.
- Clear and professional communication skills when assisting contractors, technicians, and internal teams.
- English and Spanish language skills are preferred.
- Previous experience in HVAC distribution, contractor support, warranty review, or parts troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
