Packaging Associate: 1st and 2nd Shift

BASIC PURPOSE

Responsible for continuous operation of automated and manual packaging equipment by supplying materials. Performs quality inspections on the lines, including components and finished products according to cGMP’s and SOP’s. To maintain accurate documentation for line accountability and output

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Ability to safely and efficiently operate filling and packaging equipment.

Excellent observation skills to recognize quality defects.

Ability to move shipping cases with weights up to 30 lbs. from conveyors to pallets.

Ability to read, comprehend and follow SOP's and GMP's.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Ability to work overtime - as needed.

Ability to meet physical requirements when performing job duties: sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, crouching, etc.
