Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking someone willing to keep the grounds of the sand/gravel plant up to par, working as quality control and maintenance, along with helping the others in the mine

• Advises the daily activities of employees working in the plant.
• Embrace the Company’s safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Support, promote, and practice the Company core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies
• Ensure the highest standards are achieved and maintained in terms of safety, quality, and efficiency
• Effectively coordinate daily plant operations and staff to ensure safety, regulatory, and production targets are met
• Actively support and lead Company initiatives related to safety and employee development
• Assist with training, coaching and development of employees to perform at their highest level
• Maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and Company business groups
• Communicate and schedule maintenance as needed
• Coordinate scheduling of plant equipment maintenance
• Order and maintain inventory of spare parts supply.
• Safely operate company equipment, tooling, and vehicles, etc.

Skills

• 2+ years' experience digging sand in wet conditions
• 2+ years' experience track hoe, dozer, and front-end loaders
• Operates various equipment for general site preparation.

Hours

Monday- Friday 6:55am-5pm
