McCree is looking for a Commercial Superintendent to join our team. The Superintendent directs activities of workers concerned with construction projects by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

̈ Study plan specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion

times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.

̈ Assemble members of organization (subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and employees) at start of

project.

̈ Order procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work

schedules.

̈ Confer with and direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing

work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.

̈ Confer with supervisory personnel and other organizations to resolve complaints and grievances

within work force.

̈ Confer with supervisory and engineering personnel and inspectors and suppliers of tools and

materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.

̈ Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence

to construction schedules.

̈ Serve as the Company’s designated Competent Person with regard to safety.

̈ Prepare or review reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as

indicated by reports.

̈ Direct workers concerned with major maintenance or reconditioning projects for existing

installations.

̈ Conduct field employee evaluations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

All field forces, subcontractors and vendors.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum 10 years construction experience; computer skills desired.

Authority:

The Superintendent has the responsibility and authority to accomplish the specific duties shown under Scope of the Job. Without the express permission of the Chief Operating Officer or Project Manager, the Superintendent may not contract for any services for the Company or divulge any information of a confidential nature to the Company or of any employee of the Company.

Technical Requirements:

Computer literate, utilizing all McCree software proficiently. This includes Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc. Procore is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

OSHA 30 Hour certification, First Aid Certification, CPR Certification, Power Activated tools certificate and Forklift certificate.


Hours:

Must work a minimum of 40 hours per week and job hours that may vary depending upon other established duties and responsibilities and any additional time as required to meet goals and objectives. Superintendents may start up to 30 minutes early and stay up to 30 minutes late for the purpose of lying out and storing tools and equipment, completion of paperwork and other activities necessary for the efficient operation of the job site. This is to be applied on a daily basis as job conditions dictate.
