Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $100,000 – $150,000 per year
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a large-scale agricultural operation. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on farming experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage employees, equipment, crop production, and farm resources.
This position requires a bilingual professional who can communicate effectively in both English and Spanish while ensuring efficient farm operations, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily farm operations, including planting, cultivation, irrigation, harvesting, and maintenance
- Supervise, train, and lead farm employees
- Coordinate work schedules and assign daily tasks
- Monitor crop health and implement best agricultural practices
- Manage irrigation systems, equipment, and machinery maintenance
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and agricultural standards
- Maintain production records, inventory, and operational reports
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors
- Monitor budgets and control operating expenses
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to maximize productivity
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of Farm Management experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of modern agricultural practices and farm operations
- Experience managing farm equipment and irrigation systems
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field
- Experience with budgeting and production planning
- Knowledge of agricultural compliance and safety regulations
