Medical Assistant / Frame Sylist

We are seeking a Medical Assistant/Frame Sylist to join our small team in Springfield, Ohio. This role involves managing appointment scheduling, greeting patients, handling phone calls, and supporting clinical activities such as exam equipment use and frame styling. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule appointments and surgeries
• Greet and assist onsite patients
• Answer inbound telephone calls
• File documents alphabetically
• Support exam equipment use and frame styling
• Enter data accurately into computer systems
• Communicate efficiently with team and patients

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing a busy phone system
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient with Windows OS, email, and data entry
• Ability to work well collaboratively
• Reliable transportation to work
• Willingness to learn and adapt; training provided

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in medical office support
• High School Diploma or equivalent
