Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Lead Preschool Teacher in our WI State Licensed Center! We're looking for individuals ready to share Jesus with God's youngest lambs and foster their lifelong love for learning during the most foundational years.

Duties

  • Implement age-appropriate activities that promote child development and learning.
  • Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and positive behavior.
  • Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure children's well-being.
  • Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care as needed.
  • Document observations of children's development and participate in team meetings to plan next steps.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
  • Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod Church Member (or willingness to attend Bible Information Classes upon hire).
  • Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Certification in Mandated Reporter Training and Abusive Head Trauma Training (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Early Childhood Foundational Teacher coursework (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective supervision techniques.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with parents, colleagues, and children.
