Sales Associates

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and retail sales, with the ability to create a welcoming environment for our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, providing product knowledge, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.

Duties

• Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support throughout their shopping experience.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
• Be helpful fitting customers for the many teams & organizations we work with.
• Assist in merchandising products to create appealing displays that attract customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing and stocking merchandise on shelves.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Provide assistance with phone inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Supervise junior staff when required, providing guidance and support in their roles.
• Check in and receive freight on a daily basis.
• Show a personal desire to be a valuable team member by staying self motivated and keep busy, even during down times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and performing retail math calculations.
• Experience with cash handling procedures is essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, Approximately 25-28 hours per week. MUST BE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAYS
