Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and hardworking Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Experience in the industry and operating are a mandatory requirement.
*This position will hold a variety of responsibilities as we are a very small business. Duties include but are not limited to operating heavy machines, managing small jobs solo with guidance of supervisor, maintaining the shop, general labor work (shoveling, racking, etc) , equipment maintenance, and more
Duties
- Operating basic heavy equipment
- General labor duties on jobsites
- Managing and overseeing small crews
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including mechanical repairs, cleaning work areas and tools.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed.
Requirements
- Operating experience
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices in a labor setting is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
