Assembly-Mechanical Pay Rate and Hours:
- $17.50 per hour. (possibly higher depending on experience)
- Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (possible overtime)
Assembly-Mechanical Job Description:
- Successful working experience with geared mechanisms, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, welding techniques, and painting techniques with air and pump-supplied equipment
- Assemble units per the drawing specifications
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
- Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and grinders to produce a close fit between parts
- Operated hydraulic and manual presses to assist in assembly operations
- Assists with performing test procedures on assemblies as directed
- Learns to repair and maintain mechanical equipment
- Assisted in painting and parts/assembly cleaning when necessary or required
- Performed material handling or tracked parts to receive into assembly
- Be able to drive forklift trucks, hand trucks, or manually move parts as directed or required
