Professional Pet Groomer
Job Description
Interlude Pet Resort & Spa is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Professional Pet Groomer to join our team! If you take pride in your grooming skills, enjoy working with dogs and cats, and are committed to providing exceptional care, we'd love to hear from you.
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Hours: 8:00 AM until approximately 6:00 PM (or earlier, depending on the day's grooming schedule)
- Full-time position
- Pay rate varies due to experience (this job posting will show minimum wage)
- Perform breed-specific and pet-parent requested grooms
- Bathe, brush, dry, clip, trim, and style pets safely and professionally
- Safely handle pets of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming workspace
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding their pets' grooming needs
- Identify and report any health or skin concerns observed during grooming
- Previous professional pet grooming experience is required
- Ability to groom a variety of breeds with confidence and attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for animal care and providing an outstanding grooming experience
