Facilities Maintenance Technician | EHS Experience | $26-$32/hr

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician with a strong background in mechanical maintenance and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) practices. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, maintaining facility systems, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Full-Time; M-F, 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M.

Temp-to-Hire

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical components, air compressors, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Support EHS activities, safety compliance, and corrective actions within the facility.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentation.
• Assist with equipment installations, improvements, and facility projects.
• Coordinate with outside contractors when needed.
• Manage maintenance supplies, tools, and parts inventory.
• Support office moves, workspace setups, and general facility needs.
• Collaborate with production, service, and quality teams to minimize downtime.

• 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or mechanical repair.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Experience supporting EHS activities, safety inspections, or OSHA compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and general facility systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Technical training or certifications are a plus (ASE, EPA, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, etc.).
