Respiratory Therapist Coordinator
Job Description
The Respiratory Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, oversight, development, and success of the facility's respiratory services. This position serves as the respiratory clinical expert while ensuring regulatory compliance, improving resident outcomes, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
The Respiratory Coordinator demonstrates professionalism, accountability, leadership, and clinical excellence while promoting evidence-based respiratory care throughout the facility.
Maintain an organized respiratory service line.
Monitor respiratory census and identify residents appropriate for respiratory services.
Perform routine chart reviews to identify opportunities for intervention.
Ensure residents meet criteria for respiratory services.
Assist with implementation of respiratory protocols.
Participate in expansion of respiratory services when appropriate.

Maintain respiratory services resources, educational materials, and documentation tools.
CRT/RRT License
Current and up to date NBRC license
Current and up to date state license
Graduate from AMA school
