Welders

Openwork is currently seeking experienced 1st Shift Welders for a long-term opportunity in Norwood, NC. This is a safety-critical position requiring strong attention to detail, quality, and the ability to produce accurate welds that meet company standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a MIG Welder/Wire Welder to complete welding projects according to specifications
• Perform quality welds while maintaining safety and production standards
• Read and interpret measurements and job requirements
• Ensure proper fit, alignment, and accuracy of welded components
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous MIG welding/wire welding experience required
• Strong measuring skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to pass a tape measure skills assessment
• Must successfully complete a welding skills test on scrap material
• Must demonstrate safe work practices and reliability
