Rehab Specialist (Clinical Support - Performance & Rehab)
Job Description
About The Sports Pod
The Sports Pod is a performance-driven rehab clinic focused on delivering high-quality, individualized care in a fast-paced clinical environment. We combine hands-on treatment with structured rehab to help patients recover, move better, and perform at a higher level.
Our model is built on precision, accountability, and execution—not volume or generic programming.
Role Overview
This role exists to support the clinical team by executing structured rehab programs with precision and consistency.
You will work directly alongside the chiropractor, ensuring patients move efficiently through their sessions while performing exercises correctly and progressing appropriately.
This is a highly coached, fast-paced role where your ability to process, retain, and execute instructions in real time is more important than your experience level.
This is NOT a personal training role.
What You’ll Do
Clinical Support
- Run patients through prescribed rehab programs
- Prepare patients for treatment (activation, positioning, warm-up)
- Assist with patient flow between rehab and treatment areas
- Reinforce treatment plans set by the chiropractor
Patient Coaching & Execution
- Coach movement patterns with precision and clarity
- Ensure patients perform exercises correctly—not just complete them
- Adjust regressions/progressions based on patient response
- Maintain engagement without turning sessions into workouts
Documentation & Detail Management
- Chart sessions accurately and efficiently
- Capture key patient notes when required
- Track progress and flag issues for the clinician
Clinic Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional rehab space
- Support recovery services (e.g., cold plunge, basic modalities)
- Contribute to a smooth, high-quality patient experience
