Rail Yard Operator Griffin, GA
Pay:$20.00/hour |Schedule:MondayFriday, 7:00 AM3:30 PM
Openwork is hiring aRail Yard Operatorfor a growing company in Griffin, GA! If you have experience operating heavy industrial equipment and are looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:Safely operate industrial equipment to move rail cars and materials
Perform rail movements in a safe and efficient manner
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Work outdoors inall weather conditions
Assist with additional yard duties as needed
Experience operatingindustrial machinerysuch as cranes, loaders, forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar (rail experience is a plus butnot required)
Stable work history with strong longevity in previous positions
Comfortable working outside year-round
Ability to work safely around heavy equipment
Steel toe boots required
Must be available forweekend call-inswhen rail movements are needed
When you're called in for a weekend rail movement, you're paid for aminimum of 4 hourseven if the job only takes 1 hour. That's extra earning potential for minimal time on-site!
