$2000 sign on bonus for a registered therapist.

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist

  • Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members.

  • Evaluate, develop appropriate skilled plan of care, and communicate with physicians as a registered therapist; and provide treatments following the plan of care developed as a registered therapist or assistant.

  • Document daily resident participation with skilled treatment sessions in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.

  • Instruct resident's family or nursing staff on current functional level as indicated

  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.

  • Provide support to the center interdisciplinary departments as directed by the Director or Rehab to provide the highest level of care in the industry.

Qualifications of the Occupational Therapist

  • Current and in good standing discipline specific state license.

  • Short Term Rehabilitation and/or Long Term Care experience preferred

  • One (1) year experience in Skilled Nursing Facility and/or Long Term perferred.
