Commercial Account Executive; Manhattan

Established insurance agency in Manhattan with an excellent reputation, low turnover and great benefits is adding a skilled Commercial Lines Account Executive to work in office. They are experts in their niche and work on exciting business opportunities across the country. Qualified candidate should be familiar with commercial lines coverages in the entertainment space. Responsibilities:

• Manage an assigned book of commercial insurance business, and explain coverages to clients
• Field new business calls, service new and renewals, rounding out accounts and cross sell
• Market and place new business with carrier/wholesale partners
• Facilitate policy renewals, Issue certificates, endorsements, submissions, applications and bind accounts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Insurance related experience.
• Active P&C license.
• 5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience.
• Experience working on transactional small to mid-size commercial risk.
• Fast paced environment experience with strong communication skills, sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in AMS 360, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
