Location: Northeast Houston, TX
Pay: $20.00$22.00 per hour (based on experience) | Weekly Pay
Schedule: MondayFriday | 9:00 PM 7:00 AM

Openwork is hiring an experienced Machine Operator for a well-established manufacturing company in Northeast Houston. If you have experience operating industrial equipment and enjoy working in a production environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are valued, this is a great opportunity to advance your career.
Training Schedule:
Paid training will take place on Day Shift (MondayFriday) during your first week.
After successfully completing training, you'll transition to the 3rd Shift schedule beginning your second week.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor industrial production equipment.
Set up machinery according to production requirements.
Operate a 15-foot press and assist with a 500-ton production machine.
Read work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Perform basic machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate production records.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
2+ years of manufacturing experience required.
2+ years of machine operating experience required.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Excellent attention to detail.
Reliable attendance and dependable work habits.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and move materials throughout the shift.
Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
