Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Solderer for our client. This job is responsible for assembling and soldering printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to identify electronic components, and adherence to quality standards to ensure accurate and reliable assemblies.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to identify electronic components, and adherence to quality standards to ensure accurate and reliable assemblies.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Identify and read values, polarity, and orientation of thru-hole components including capacitors, resistors, transistors, ICs, and related electronic components.
- Verify component orientation and polarity according to printed circuit board reference designators and assembly drawings.
- Read assembly drawings and utilize Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify customer part numbers and assembly requirements.
- Verify thru-hole component values and confirm correct placement locations.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards.
- Utilize assembly tools and equipment necessary to complete final product assembly including hot glue, clipping, masking, and related production equipment.
- Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the assembly and soldering process.
- Communicate quality concerns or process issues to team leaders.
- Suggest ideas and process improvements when applicable.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience with production assembly or soldering processes preferred; training will be provided as needed.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and PCB assembly preferred.
- Basic understanding of IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards preferred.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and Bills of Materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, motivated, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and operate production equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, stretching, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for handling small electronic components.
- Good vision required for component identification and placement accuracy.
- Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Work performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with frequent interaction with team members.
- Training will be provided on production equipment and processes.
