Job Title: Caregiver / CNA – Residential Hospice House (Part-Time & Weekend Shifts Available)

About Us:
We are a small, faith-based ministry operating a 14-bed residential hospice house dedicated to providing compassionate, dignified end-of-life care. Our team is committed to supporting not only our patients, but also their families during one of life’s most meaningful transitions.

Position Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers and CNAs who are comfortable working closely with patients and their families during the end-of-life stage. This role is ideal for individuals who value holistic, patient-centered care and feel called to provide comfort, presence, and dignity in a peaceful, home-like setting.

Schedule & Availability:
• 8-hour shifts
• Part-time positions available

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

  • 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Immediate part-time need for weekend coverage:

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

  • 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Possible full-time schedule with flexible shifts

Compensation:
• $15 – $16/hour

Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and repositioning
• Ensure patient comfort by assisting with mobility, feeding, and maintaining a calm, supportive environment
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to licensed nursing staff
• Offer emotional support and presence to patients and their families during the end-of-life process
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and home-like environment for residents
• Support the interdisciplinary team in delivering comfort-focused, individualized care
• Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications:
• Current CNA certification (or relevant caregiving experience, depending on state requirements)
• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or long-term care preferred but not required
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with end-of-life care and supporting families during the dying process
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment
