Paradigm is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to support Cascade Systems Technology. This position is responsible for preparing and completing electronic and mechanical assemblies before they move to quality control or testing.
The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly, or computer components and is comfortable following detailed build instructions, working with small components, and performing repetitive hands-on assembly work. Candidates with two or more years of related experience may qualify toward the higher end of the pay range.

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will:
- Follow weekly build/ship and production schedule for the department via immediate supervisor/team lead and inform immediate supervisor/team lead if schedule will not be met
- Prepare the customer fixtures for press fit
- Finish the buildup of circuit boards from touch up according to specifications
- Ensure proper labeling of circuit boards before sending quality control or testing
- Inform supervisor or lead of any issues found on incoming boards to get directions on how to solve or how to fix the problem
- Audit kits from Prep/Insert to ensure the kit includes the right customer approved components and count is correct
- Ensure production area is clean and maintained
- Redline and communicate any documentation discrepancies to immediate supervisor
- Communicate any quality issues to the immediate supervisor within fifteen (15) minutes of finding
- Keep safety stock of all production consumables and order supplies as needed through immediate supervisor
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, electronics assembly, or computer components is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, bills of materials, checklists, and build documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with small components.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and assembly tasks.
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards is preferred.
- Basic computer, Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Ability to learn LEAN manufacturing and ISO 9000 processes.
- Ability to follow ESD, chemical, MSDS, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to comply with ITAR requirements.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and accurately distinguish between colors and small components.
