W.B. Guimarin is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a skilled team. If you have experience installing commercial plumbing systems, reading blueprints, and delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently, we'd like to talk with you.
Our plumbers work on a variety of commercial construction projects and are supported by experienced foremen, quality tools, and a company that values safety, integrity, and teamwork.
What You'll Do
- Install commercial plumbing systems according to plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Read blueprints and determine proper system layouts.
- Install domestic water, sanitary, storm drainage, natural gas, medical gas, acid waste, and related piping systems.
- Install supports, hangers, valves, fittings, fixtures, and equipment.
- Cut, thread, groove, solder, braze, fuse, and assemble a variety of piping materials.
- Pressure test completed systems and repair leaks as needed.
- Work closely with foremen and other trades to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
What We're Looking For
- Commercial plumbing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with copper, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, steel, and other commercial piping systems.
- Knowledge of commercial plumbing codes and installation practices.
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Commitment to safety and producing quality work.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
