Palm Beach County / South Florida
Design Electrical Construction is hiring an experienced Commercial Electrical Leadman to lead crews on commercial projects throughout South Florida.
We're looking for a leadman who leads by example—installing commercial electrical systems, directing the crew, and keeping projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Our work includes tenant improvements, commercial offices, aviation, medical facilities, service work, and high-tech manufacturing.
Pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hour (based on experience)
What You'll Do
Lead commercial electrical crews in the field
Install conduit, feeders, branch wiring, lighting, panels, transformers, disconnects, and equipment
Lay out daily work and assign tasks
Coordinate with the Project Manager, General Contractor, inspectors, and other trades
Read and work from blueprints, one-lines, panel schedules, and specifications
Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment
Keep projects productive, organized, and on schedule
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional jobsite
Train and mentor apprentices and helpers
What We're Looking For
10+ years of commercial electrical experience
Previous Leadman, Lead Mechanic, or Foreman experience preferred
Strong commercial installation skills
Ability to read plans and specifications
Experience with conduit, feeders, lighting, panels, transformers, disconnects, and equipment
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Florida Journeyman License preferred
