Dental Assistant

Job Summary


Dentistry at Greenway in Surprise, AZ is seeking a friendly and professional general dental assistant to join their team. They are looking for a dental assistant with a great attitude, strong work ethic, detail oriented, communicates well with team members and patients. The position will be 2-3 days a week from 8am -5pm.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
• Use of digital x-rays.
• Experience with use of digital scanner.
• Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Caring for dental equipment.
• Maintaining dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.
• Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Maintaining Sterilization for the office.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude.
• Possess great understanding of dental terminology.
• Have excellent communication and written skills.
• Work well with patients and team.
• Be experienced in delivering high-level customer service.
• Reliable, shows initiative and friendly!
  
  

Schedule

• 2-3 days per week (Monday- Thursday)
• 8 am to 5 pm
