Photo Electric LLC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join its onsite team in Salem, OR and deliver safe, high‑quality electrical work. A company work van equipped with standard electrical tools is provided for this role.

Position Summary

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards. This role performs electrical work independently while ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and to specification.

The ideal candidate is skilled in troubleshooting, interpreting electrical documentation, and leading work with a strong focus on jobsite safety and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and related components for residential, commercial, and industrial projects

  • Read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and technical documentation

  • Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues and determine effective solutions

  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, permitting requirements, and safety best practices

  • Collaborate with team members and other trades to support job progress and maintain a clean, organized worksite

Required Qualifications
  • Active Journeyman Electrician license/credential valid in the state of Oregon

  • Proficiency in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair practices

  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and safe work procedures

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and job specifications

  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working across diverse electrical systems and jobsite environments

  • Familiarity with jobsite documentation, testing/inspection procedures, and quality control practices

  • Proven ability to coordinate work effectively with project teams and supervisors

  • Track record of completing work accurately, safely, and on schedule

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly rate: $40–$45
