Position Overview

We are seeking an Electronics Restoration Technician with strong technical and

problem-solving skills to join our team. This role offers a wide variety of

responsibilities between working in our shop and traveling to customer locations.

Training will be provided on all Prism processes and restoration procedures.

Cross-training opportunities are available in electronics, art, textiles, and document

restoration, with primary focus in the electronics/electrical division.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and

comfortable working with a wide range of electronics and appliances.

Shop Responsibilities

%CF; Test and validate the functionality of appliances, computers, TVs, home

theater systems, and household electronics

%CF; Evaluate electronics to determine repair vs. replacement recommendations

%CF; Clean, restore, and perform final testing to ensure items are fully operational

%CF; Carefully disassemble and reassemble electronics and appliances

%CF; Package and prepare items for safe return to customers

On-Site Responsibilities

%CF; Inventory, disconnect, label, and transport electronics from customer

locations

%CF; Map and document wiring/connections to ensure accurate reinstallation

%CF; Reconnect and test electronics in customers’ homes or businesses

%CF; Drive company vehicles including box trucks and work vans

%CF; Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer

service during stressful situations

%CF; Support and assist newer team members as the company grows

What We’re Looking For

%CF; 2+ years of technical, repair, handyman, appliance, or electronics experience

preferred

%CF; Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

%CF; Comfortable taking apart and reassembling electronics and appliances

%CF; Broad technical knowledge across multiple types of electronics

%CF; Excellent verbal and written communication skills

%CF; Customer service oriented with a professional appearance

%CF; High School Diploma or equivalent

%CF; Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record

%CF; Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical

%CF; Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50+ pounds, including stairs

Experience with any of the following is highly valued:

%CF; PC building and troubleshooting

%CF; Home theater setup and installation

%CF; Appliance troubleshooting and testing

%CF; TV and audio equipment repair

%CF; Computer systems setup and networking

%CF; Restoration industry experience
