Maintenance Technician – Full-Time

Savvy Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a full-time opportunity with a well-established residential property management company in Worcester, MA. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with experience in building systems, repairs, and preventative maintenance who takes pride in providing excellent service to residents and maintaining a safe, well-kept property.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general building and property maintenance to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including heat pumps and forced induction systems
• Perform plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, lighting repairs, and basic carpentry work
• Complete drywall repairs, painting, door hardware repairs, cabinetry adjustments, and other cosmetic improvements
• Diagnose and repair common residential appliances, including refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, washers, and dryers
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and routine servicing of building equipment
• Maintain pool areas, including cleaning, chemical monitoring, and basic upkeep
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as part of an on-call rotation (including occasional weekends and holidays)
• Complete work orders efficiently and communicate updates with management and team members
• Maintain a professional and customer-service-focused approach when interacting with residents and vendors

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in residential, commercial, facilities, or property maintenance
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs independently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must pass a background check
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
• Must have basic hand and power tools for daily maintenance tasks
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail
