Maintenance Technician - Handyman

We are seeking a dependable, skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position supports residential apartments, storage facilities, and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have abroad background in general property maintenance and repairs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform work on plumbing issues, including leaks, faucets, toilets, drains, water lines, and fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, and appliance issues.
• Assist with unit turns and property improvements.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Communicate effectively with residents, tenants, vendors, and management.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance or related trade experience preferred.
• Demonstrated plumbing repair and troubleshooting experience required.
• Working knowledge of facility maintenance practices.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to diagnose problems and determine practical solutions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
