Composite Structure Technician
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Composite Structure Technician I is a hands-on role, whose primary responsibility is to assemble and refurbish aircraft monument structures that meet company design specifications.
POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
· Read and interpret work instructions.
· Perform aircraft monuments corrosion inspections
· Corrosion surface preparation and maintenance.
· Remove, treat for corrosion, and apply protective coatings.
· Perform lamination of composite materials.
· Assemble/disassemble composite structures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· High attention to detail
· 4-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance desired.
· Hand dexterity/coordination: Job requires a lot of specific finger movements and hand layup techniques.
· Organization: Must be able to keep track of various parts during process
· Cleanliness: Parts can be sensitive to foreign materials, must be able to keep a clean workspace.
· Safety-Minded: Team needs people who are putting safety first and realize how important it is to take care around certain machinery/equipment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
