WorkEnvironment: Semiconductor Cleanroom
As aManufacturing Technician II, you will support advanced semiconductormanufacturing operations within a 12-inch silicon wafer fabrication facility.
In thisrole, you will operate specializedequipment, monitor production processes, and perform preventativemaintenance to help maintain efficient and high-quality waferfabrication operations.
ThisManufacturing Technician II position is ideal for individuals withsemiconductor or manufacturing experience who enjoy working with advancedtechnology in a cleanroom production environment.
What YouWill Do
As aManufacturing Technician II, you will:
- Operateadvanced manufacturing equipment used in silicon wafer fabrication
- Perform routine production tasks, equipment monitoring, andpreventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues duringproduction
- Support non-standard processing and processimprovements
- Follow strict cleanroom protocols, including full cleanroomgowning
- Maintain documentation and support manufacturingspecifications
Requirements:
- AA / AS degree (technical discipline) + 1 year experience in a semiconductor cleanroom
- High School Diploma or GED + 3 years experience in a semiconductor cleanroom
What You Bring
To qualify for this Manufacturing Technician II role, you should have one of the following:
- AA/AS degree in a technical discipline + 1 year semiconductor cleanroom experience
- High School Diploma/GED + 3 years semiconductor cleanroom experience
- High School Diploma/GED + 3 years manufacturing experience with strong computer skills
Additional requirements:
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a cleanroom environment
Work Environment
- Semiconductor cleanroom environment
- Requires full cleanroom gowning (gore suit covering head to toe)
- Work involves standing for extended periods and repetitive motion
