Employment Law Attorney

Major Personal Injury law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join our expanding employment division. This role focuses heavily on defending individuals against claims involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and whistleblower claims. The position is based fully in-office, with locations available in Manhattan, River Edge, NJ, or Huntington, Long Island.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of employment litigation matters.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with support staff to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Oversee case-related resources and timelines to ensure efficient case progression.
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular updates and empathetic guidance.
• Stay current with legal developments, industry trends, and precedents to inform strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Active membership in the New York or New Jersey bar, in good standing.
• Minimum of 10 years of employment law experience.
• Proven ability to manage all stages of litigation independently from inception to resolution.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in building client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years specifically in employment law litigation.
