Commercial Plumber

A Commercial Plumber plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in both new construction and renovation projects. Typically working within a small team of 1 to 3 members and reporting to a site supervisor, this position requires strong practical skills, compliance with plumbing codes, and the ability to interpret blueprints. Occasional travel between job sites is expected, and the role involves utilizing a combination of traditional tools and modern software to fulfill job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing systems in new construction and renovation projects
• Repair plumbing fixtures and systems to maintain functionality
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately to guide work
• Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing codes and standards
• Collaborate effectively within a small team of 1-3 members
• Report progress and issues to site supervisor
• Travel occasionally between job sites as required
• Use a combination of tools and software to complete tasks efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in plumbing
• Vocational training in plumbing or related field
• Journeyman plumber license
• Proficient in blueprint reading
• Strong knowledge of plumbing code compliance
