Join a team where your mechanical and electrical skills are valued, and your impact is seen daily. We are looking for a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Technician to keep our machines, facilities, and equipment running smoothly on 1st shift. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, industrial environment and solving real-world problems, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on fabrication and material-handling equipment per established procedures
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on downed equipment
  • Work on CNC machines (mills, lathes), plasma cutters, saws, blasters, motors, electrical boxes, and sensors
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, conveyors, and similar machinery
  • Take apart and repair motors, replace bearings, roller wheels, and hydraulic/air machine components
  • Support special facility improvement projects in collaboration with leadership
  • Communicate project plans and supply needs to team leads and vendors
  • Maintain a consistent, reliable presence — ready to work at shift start
  • Follow all company safety standards and attend required meetings

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, heavy equipment repair, or metal fabrication environments
  • Hands-on knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
  • Proven troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience
  • Ability to safely operate cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
  • Dependable, long-term mindset (no job-hoppers)
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience using Mega Mation or other CMMS systems
  • Welding or fabrication exposure
  • Ability to read and interpret shop/engineering drawings
  • Forklift and crane certifications
  • OSHA or other safety training/certifications

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 75 lbs occasionally and operate machinery
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and reaching during 8–12 hour shifts
  • Work at heights up to 40 feet and tolerate varied shop conditions (heat, cold, dust, fumes)

Ideal Background:

Candidates will likely come from steel fabrication shops, heavy/industrial manufacturing facilities, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or industrial maintenance departments.

Compensation & Perks:

  • Competitive pay up to $35/hr DOE
  • Opportunities for growth and long-term stability
  • Supportive team culture with a safety-first environment
