Carpenter - Commercial Construction

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Carpenters for a short-term commercial project. This is a fast-paced project requiring skilled tradesmen who can produce high-quality work while following strict safety and security protocols.

Location: Martinsburg, WV
Schedule: Full-Time | 6:00 AM Start
Duration: 2-6 month assignment (potential go longer)

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble formwork for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and slabs.
• Install and secure reinforcing steel (rebar) within concrete forms.
• Verify form alignment, level, plumb, and bracing before concrete placement.
• Build and dismantle temporary frameworks for concrete construction.
• Ensure formwork is accurate, structurally sound, and meets project specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
• Work alongside other trades to meet project deadlines
• Follow all OSHA standards and military base regulations

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Ability to lift 50+lbs and work at heights
• Work in all weather conditions
• Stand, walk, bending long periods of time
• Reliable transportation
