Maintenance Technician

Omega Industrial Services is looking for field service maintenance technician. A strong mechanical back ground with conveyor maintenance experience.

• Responsible for troubleshooting and performing regular maintenance including repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems (including: replacing/re-lacing belts, rollers, sensors, motors, and performing PMI's) is highly desired.
• Good verbal and written communications skills a must. Daily interactions with on site customer contacts and properly completing all job related paperwork is required.
• Responsible for safety checks and safe operations of company service vehicle.
• Maintains assigned tools and supports the accurate inventory of all company supplied tools.
• This is a customer facing role, requiring professionalism in personal appearance and conduct.
• Complies with facility safety requirements by adhering to proper PPE rules by wearing hearing protection, gloves, safety glasses, steel toed safety shoes and any other items required for working safely on the job.
• Experience with LOTO safety regulations, as well as forklift and scissor lift experience is preferred.
• Clean driving record and criminal background check required.
• Welding Skills preferred.
