Plumbing Technician

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Plumbing Technician to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential and/or commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate provides quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and follows all safety and plumbing-code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Diagnose problems involving pipes, drains, toilets, faucets, water heaters, sump pumps, and related equipment.
• Repair leaks, clogs, damaged piping, and faulty plumbing components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and plumbing inspections.
• Test systems for proper operation, pressure, drainage, and leaks.
• Recommend appropriate repairs or equipment replacements.
• Clearly explain plumbing issues and service options to customers.
• Read blueprints, manuals, and technical specifications.
• Complete service records, work orders, and material documentation.
• Follow applicable plumbing codes, company procedures, and safety requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and the assigned service vehicle.
• Participate in an on-call or emergency-service schedule when required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plumbing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicable apprentice, journeyman, or master plumber license preferred or required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional communication and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds and work in crawl spaces and varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency calls.
