About the job
The Test Operator will perform electrical testing and tuning of RF technology products including
modules, bare die, packaged parts, and sub-assemblies. This role supports production and
engineering teams by calibrating test equipment, troubleshooting performance issues, and
maintaining quality and testing standards.
We're looking for someone who
%CF; Has a high school diploma or GED (some college preferred)
%CF; Has 5–7 years of RF technology testing and tuning experience
%CF; Has hands-on experience with RF technology test equipment including Vector Network
Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Power Supplies, and
Power Meters
%CF; Can read and interpret schematics, drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions
%CF; Demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
%CF; Is detail-oriented with strong documentation and data analysis abilities
%CF; Can organize, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
%CF; Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
%CF; Is proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
%CF; Works well collaboratively and supports team training efforts
%CF; Demonstrates integrity, accountability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic
%CF; Is comfortable working under a microscope for tuning and inspection tasks
What you'll do
%CF; Calibrate and set up RF technology test equipment
%CF; Perform electrical testing on RF/technology products and sub-assemblies
%CF; Tune electrical performance to meet product specifications
%CF; Inspect products and verify documentation prior to testing
%CF; Troubleshoot product failures, inconsistent performance, and testing issues
%CF; Support product rework activities under supervisor guidance
%CF; Interpret drawings and schematics related to assembly and troubleshooting
%CF; Assist with training technicians and test operators as needed
%CF; Maintain test equipment, accessories, tools, and test stations
%CF; Participate in continuous product improvement initiatives
%CF; Support engineering sample testing as needed
%CF; Perform other duties assigned to support production and engineering goals
Physical requirements
%CF; Must be able to frequently stand, walk, and use hands for detailed assembly and testing
work
%CF; Must be comfortable sitting and standing for extended periods
%CF; Must be able to occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
%CF; Must frequently lift and move up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 25 lbs
%CF; Must have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
%CF; Must be comfortable performing microscope-based tuning and inspection work
