Marine Electric Techncian

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Marine Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and experience working with electrical systems in Tugs/Barges. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.

As a Marine Electrician, your responsibilities will include:

* Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

* Troubleshooting electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and calipers.

* Assembling and installing electrical devices according to specifications.

* Providing exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their electrical needs.

* Performing maintenance for Tug and Barge service to ensure reliability on job sites.

* Collaborating with other tradespeople and service technicians to complete projects efficiently.

* Maintaining a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Preferred qualifications include:

* Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.

* Strong marine electrical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

* Ability to work with VFD.

* Travel for work if needed

* Must be able to Work Overtime

*Must have a valid TWIC card or able to apply for.

*Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions.
