Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team in a dual-role capacity. This position involves hands-on mechanical work—specifically diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining water and wastewater pumps—along with general warehouse support and facility maintenance. If you are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoy a varied daily routine, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Pump Repair & Maintenance:
- Inspect, disassemble, diagnose, and repair water and wastewater pumps and related mechanical equipment.
- Rebuild mechanical seals, impellers, bearings, and motors.
- Clean, test, and reassemble repaired units to meet quality standards.
- Warehouse & General Maintenance:
- Prepare repaired equipment and parts for customer pickup or delivery.
- Perform routine shop upkeep, tool maintenance, and general facility groundskeeping to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Operate shop machinery and equipment safely (e.g., forklifts, overhead cranes, power tools).
Qualifications & Skills
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools (experience with pumps, motors, or rotating equipment is highly preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
- High level of dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs) and perform physical shop labor throughout the day.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Schedule & Benefits
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Consistent day-shift hours with weekends off).
