Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to daily work orders in occupied units and communal areas across residential and commercial properties. This role emphasizes timely, high-quality repairs, effective communication, and maintaining building systems to reduce downtime and support a positive resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to work orders involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, carpentry, and general building repairs, including preventative maintenance where possible
- Repair or replace fixtures, appliances, door hardware, locks, trim, and other basic components
- Document all work performed, and reports all findings in maintenance log, including issues that require follow-up
- Performs on-call emergency service as required
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation
- Prioritize safety and follow all company maintenance procedures when working in occupied units
Benefits are offered to full-time W-2 employees. Independent contractors (1099) are not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.
Pay determined based on skills/experience. Wage increase after 90 days.
