General Maintenance Worker

The General Maintenance Worker plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of facilities through routine maintenance tasks and emergency repairs. Working independently, this position requires expertise in performing preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and safety checks while utilizing standard hand and power tools. On site visits to multiple locations throughout St. Joseph, MO and Kansas City, KS are necessary to address facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment repair and preventive maintenance
• Maintain facility cleanliness and overall upkeep
• Conduct regular safety inspections and checks
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely
• Identify and report maintenance issues promptly
• Troubleshoot and resolve emergency repair needs
• Occasionally visit off-site locations for maintenance tasks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
