In this hands-on role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of machinery and equipment, including manual and CNC lathes and mills, as well as pipe and electrical systems. Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment according to specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and measuring and testing instruments.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery components to ensure optimal performance.
- Request repair or replacement parts as needed and maintain accurate data and inventory reports in the company database.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and minimize equipment downtime.
- Experience with manual and CNC lathes and mills, as well as pipe and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and measuring and testing instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
- Experience maintaining data and inventory reports in a computer database.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive blueprint reading ability.
- Experience with measuring tools and hydraulic systems.
- Background in assembly and repair of mechanical equipment and/or machinery.
- Electric/electronic experience and knowledge preferred.
