Inspect machinery to identify problems or potential failures
Perform routine preventive maintenance (lubrication, adjustments, part replacement)
Diagnose mechanical issues using tools and testing equipment
Repair or replace defective parts (motors, belts, bearings, valves, etc.)
Disassemble and reassemble machines and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics
Maintain maintenance logs and records
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Work with other technicians or engineers to improve machine performance
