Industrial Maintenance Technician

The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of industrial equipment. Working within a small team and reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this technician performs equipment repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system inspections while adhering to strict safety standards. The role requires regular travel between sites and offers opportunities for certification training and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment repair and parts replacement to maintain operational efficiency
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Inspect systems regularly to detect issues and ensure safety compliance
• Install new machinery and maintain tools in proper working condition
• Adhere strictly to safety standards and protocols during all tasks
• Collaborate effectively within a small maintenance team
• Travel regularly between sites to support multiple locations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Strong skills in electrical systems troubleshooting
• Proficiency with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Expertise in mechanical repair and preventive maintenance
• Experience with welding and fabrication
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety compliance standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• EPA refrigerant handling certification
